Coming into Cobra, it's tempting to go for height and push the torso up with the strength of the arms, but height isn't the goal; the goal is extension in the spine and opening in the chest. To find the height at which you can work comfortably and strengthen the back instead of straining it, take your hands off the floor for a moment, so that the height you find will be through extension.

I read from a magazine that people who do a lot of benchpress or pushup will develop their chest. But the chest mussle will pull the shoulder forward, making the person look hunch.

As such, it is important for the person to do streching. The strech position like cobra was also mentioned. Other method is to use one hand to hold the door frame and push the shoulder forward.
